If you have not heard from your strand by March 2nd, please email atgenderconference@gmail.com who can advise further.
Where will the conference take place?
The conference will take place at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Information about how to get to the venue is available on the university website: https://www.uab.cat/web/mobility-and-transport-1345796323450.html

You are welcome to email strand coordinators with an updated abstract if you wish to. The deadline to do this is April 30th. After this date changes cannot be accepted.

What are the benefits of becoming a member of AtGender?
Membership entails many benefits, including discounted conference fees.
How do I become an AtGender member?

How long does my AtGender membership last?
Regardless of the month you pay, your membership will last twelve months.

We encourage all participants to become individual members if they have the opportunity. Please also note that institutional members are offered three membership discount on conference fees for three people of their choice.
4. Conference fees
Please note that the AtGender membership and conference fees are two different payments. The fees cover only the conference costs (organization, keynotes, catering).
Which conference fee category do I qualify for?
-
Full conference fee: If you can afford it, i.e. you have access to a research/conference budget, you should pay the full conference fee. Full conference fee contributions are essential to the sustainability of Atgender conferences, including ensuring we can offer forms of support like travel grants.
-
Reduced conference fee: If you cannot afford the full conference fee, i.e. you are on a precarious or temporary contract, you have no research/conference budget, or you are in a vulnerable financial situation, you are invited to choose the reduced conference fee option.
-
Student conference fee: If you are a master or PhD student, you are eligible for the student conference fee. If you are a PhD student with a research/conference budget, please consider paying the full or reduced conference fee.
In exceptional cases of difficulty, e.g. you do not have an income, you are eligible for the student fee.
I have difficulties in paying conference fees, travel and accommodation expenses. What can I do?
AtGender offers a limited number of travel grants. Further information is available here.
