The registration process has two steps:

Fee category breakdown:

Full conference fee: If you can afford it, i.e. you have access to a research/conference budget, you should pay the full conference fee. Full conference fee contributions are essential to the sustainability of Atgender conferences, including ensuring we can offer forms of support like travel grants.
Reduced conference fee: If you cannot afford the full conference fee, i.e. you are on a precarious or temporary contract, you have no research/conference budget, or you are in a vulnerable financial situation, you are invited to choose the reduced conference fee option.
Student conference fee: If you are a master or PhD student, you are eligible for the student conference fee. If you are a PhD student with a research/conference budget, please consider paying the full or reduced conference fee.

In exceptional cases of difficulty, e.g. you do not have an income, you are eligible for the student fee.

ATGENDER member fees (individual and institutional):

Individual ATGENDER members benefit from a discount on conference fee within the category they qualify for.
Institutional ATGENDER members are offered three membership discount on conference fees for three people of their choice within the category they qualify for. If your institution is an ATGENDER member and you would like to benefit from their institutional membership discount on conference fees, please be in touch with your institution.

How to pay the fees

You can pay the registration fee using the details below. When transferring money, please remember to indicate your full name and the purpose of the payment (CONFERENCE FEE).

Notice for Participants Subjected to Visa Barriers

ATGENDER is committed to facilitating the participation of scholars who require a visa to attend ATGENDER conferences. We understand that securing a visa can be a time-sensitive and sometimes challenging process, particularly for participants from the global South(s) and non-European regions. Visa processing times can vary significantly and may take up to 3 months or more.

Therefore, we intend to review the abstracts of applicants that indicate that they would need a visa to attend the conference as promptly as possible so that those accepted can start their visa procedures. We encourage all applicants requiring a visa to get in touch with us as early as possible to discuss what additional documentation you may require (e.g. an invitation letter).
